The doctors told me there is no cure for tinnitus and I would have to live with it! How can anyone live with these awful ringing noises in their ears? Is there some treatment available somewhere?

I have a friend who has had tinnitus for a week now with episodes of orthostatic hypotension and his doctor told him to drink more water and add more salt to his diet. Is this good advice?

Very hard to treat Tinnitus,
you must learn to live with it and see what you can do to bring the ringing to the point it doesn’t bother you anymore.

Any suggestions or things that have worked for you?
I was dignosed with menires disease 30 years ago and i have leaned to live with it. I can honestly say the ringing doesnt bother me at all.

Tinnitus can last for years. My mother has had it for almost 20 years now. I do not know if it is temporary though. Ask your doctor and you can probably find more out about it.:)
